While the moms and kids sledded and played on the huge mountains of snow in our church parking lot, the dads shoveled off the church roof, the trailer roof and our shed roof.
Jessica and a friend from church half buried by all the snow!
He's ready for the Olympics!
A massive "ice saber!" Here a young friend from church shows off a huge icicle he found.
You can see someone (maybe Phil?) waving from atop the church trailer where the men where shoveling the 2+ feet of snow off the roof.
Here's a view looking toward our house.
Ready, set, sled!
Phil ready to jump off the trailer...
Buried in snow!
Heading home after a long day shoveling and sledding. It's a big deal to have a picture of T walking in boots in the snow. It's something we've been working very hard on so that mom doesn't have to carry him to church or drag the sled across to church in the muddy slush. Now he can walk by himself! I just have to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't decide to up and sit down at some point - usually when I say, "It's time to go home!" He's also discovered the joys of stomping in slushy, muddy puddles.
